Speed running

 How to speed run the right way!

Many people who play Minecraft enjoy to do something called "Speed Run". Speed running can be defined by this simple question: How long does it take to you to beat the Ender dragon? Many famous streamers also like to participate in this challenge and compete against other streamers. I am going to explain the quickest way and easiest way to Speed run. 

Step one: find the nearest village

Now, there is a 50/50 chance that you will start a new world and spawn near a village, if not, things may be a little more difficult. Once you are at a village, take as many beds available (beds are optional) since they will be able to do a lot of damage once defeating the dragon. It is also good to take as many hay bales  from the village if possible, and to kill the Iron Golem to get some extra iron. 

Step two: mining for Ores

Pretty self-explanatory step, in this step it is best to mine Ores which are Iron, Gold, and others prefer Diamonds aswell. The Iron is usually used to make a set of weapons and to make a full set or armor to protect yourself. Gold is usually used to trade with other Mobs in the Nether. Diamonds aren't preferred by many since it can be a waste of time but Diamonds have the same use as Iron. Now once you're all set, you make a Nether portal.

Step three: traveling through the Nether

Once you have traveled to the Nether, it is best to quickly look for Piglins and trade Gold with them to earn Enderpearls, you can also get Enderpearls from Enderman. Next, go searching for the nearest Nether Fortress and get 7 Blaze rods from the Blaze Mobs. It is recommended to get 12 Enderpearls and 7 Blaze rods, but other people prefer to get 2-4 more Enderpearls and 2 more Blaze rods. 

Step four: finding the End portal

This is when the Blaze rods and Enderpearls come in handy, these two items will create Eyes of Ender (which is basically the only way that you will be able to find the End portal). You will throw the Eye of Ender into the air and follow the direction it points two. The End portal can be hundreds of thousands of blocks away but then it also can be a couple of hundred blocks away. End portals cab be found underwater, caves, or under a village. 

Step five: defeating the Ender dragon

Once you find the End portal, you will place all 12 Eyes on Ender in all the slots. Sometimes the portal will have a couple of Eyes onEnder in the slots but not always.. Once you have entered the End, it is important to destroy all of the End crystals (they will be found on top of large towers that are in a circle). The End crystals gives the Ender dragon its strength back after taking damage but once they are all destroyed, you will finally be able to attack the Ender dragon. Right before the Ender dragon starts to preach, place the bed down and tap on it (will cause A LOT of damage). Continue to do this repeatedly until the Ender dragon has no more health left.. Congrats! Now you have defeated the Ender dragon.

Now you have defeated the Ender dragon, and defeated it the quickest way possible! Obviously there are also many different ways to do it, this was just one of the many ways to complete a full Speed run (including defeating the Ender dragon). Others can complete it under 20 Min, or even 15 min.. give it a try, maybe you'll be able to do it quicker!
